TFolk Treasurer a Panelist at Out for Australia Event

TransFolk of WA Treasurer Alyce Schotte presented as a panelist at Out for Australia‘s Coming Out in the Workplace event in Perth tonight.

Schotte, who is also a Staff Resolution Officer at the Australian Taxation Office, spoke about her experiences coming out as transgender in the workplace.

The event also focused on corporate diversity culture and knowing where to turn when experiencing or being concerned about discrimination.

Other panelists included Andrew Lu (UWA), Drew Duddy (Newcrest Mining), Phil Beckett (Life Without Barriers) and Verity Long-Droppert (Albert Wolff Chambers).
